Due to upbringing in a technicological type family , got a huge cross reference of a variety of vehicles .... and have been through quite a collection , still retaining a few of the more. Antique type vehicles . Have owned the gasoline guzzlers, and few that actually got reasonable gas mileage. Usually common sense was not involved in choices of vehicles . Rather one that , I thought might be fun and unique to drive , and ability to be purchased with a meager budget. Not always making best judgement but usually have had the ability. To enjoy the drive , Not always realizing that that uniqueness and having family members whom had previously taught me. Abilities to be mechanically inclined, so that would not be afraid to care for mechanical things . And save money in the process .
Have felt if you could enjoy your transportation , it made riding in it less of a burdensome process. Been through quite a diversity of vehicles. And had great fun along the way. Including having someone guide me into the world of motorized cycles , ( motorcycles) . Of rather a odd collection of those including. One Zundapp . Almost completely unheard of in the USA . Had great fun with the lot of them albeit , not a proper hobby for girls to engage in .
But had older siblings that were very big into those things . And eager to share at that time. Being a aspie
Vehicles were logical to engage in , if you even learned part of the language of vehicle maintenence.
Was pretty jealous of some car fans , and having a. Spouse that was a car person , in the extreme , Cars became a language that we had in common aswell as motorcycles albeit , he was far more knowledgeable And experienced than myself. And a great fun hobby Together at one time in history. Had made some members here aware of my prior and current vehicular oddities .
