I wish. The Polish are cool. No, aside from Swedish (going back to at least Napoleonic times), the only identifiable ethnicity I have in me is Walloon. That said, I will take your comment as a compliment.

Swedes are kind of the same, but are percieved as the opposite. There's a long history of military pragmatism on our culture at large, so the typical assumption is that there's a tangible reason behind most rules even if you don't know what that reason is. This is of course not always true, and typically no one cares when a non-reasonable rule is broken.
