Can you explain this statement in the brackets to me. Is it snark? Is it aimed at Fnord or TP?

Are you saying Fnord uses the conclusion fallacy or TP doesn't know what the conclusion fallacy is.

Or something else?

Nothing insinuated. Fnord and I have openly discussed many fallacies in relation to the scientific method, This is just one.

Given the fact that the person who inspired this thread was banned for various misbehaviors, I’m not sure why people are still seeking to defend him.

Apologies not everything is so shallow. Sometimes many of us actually interested in deeper meanings of things.

Somebirb told me we are not suppose to shame banned members.
Kinda hard to enforce when any alleged 'shaming' is directed at an act or attitude, and not a person or group.
An ATTITUDE is part of the whole person.
For example:
Saying someone has a bad attitude would be a personal attack, would it not?
Are you suggesting the person had a bad attitude?
As long as it is the attitude or behavior being addressed, and not any specific person or group that displays it, then there is no violation of The Rules.

So, if a random person or group decides to take offense over a critique that was not directed at them regarding an attitude or behavior, then that is THEIR problem, and no one else's.

Furthermore, if violating The Rules results in banishment, then it is a clear indication that disrespect for The Rules is one form of a bad attitude.

Or hasty generalization - Cause he points it out it means the others dont know

Hasty generalisations are also made when making use of occam's razor to validate option a (because it fits within the predetermined paradigm) and invalidate option's b and c (because they don't)

Post hoc ergo propter hoc: Fnord has pointed it out and he has noticed the generalization, so pointing it out must have made it noticed 8O

Begging the claim: Fnord should notice it.

Bandwagon Appeal: If Fnord was truly noticing it, then he would be pointing it out.

Rexi, I do not know what you have against me, but please back off.  Your behavior is making me feel uncomfortable.

I generally agree with logic fallacies but am aware they can be weaponised
