Crinoids are marine animals that make up the class Crinoidea of the echinoderms (phylum Echinodermata). Crinoidea comes from the Greek word krinon, "a lily", and eidos, "form". They live both in shallow water and in depths as great as 6,000 meters. Sea lilies refer to the crinoids which, in their adult form, are attached to the sea bottom by a stalk. Feather stars or comatulids refer to the unstalked forms. (Wikipedia)

My tattoos are lame. I got them when I was a teenager but I'll post them anyway. I got the blue butterfly on my lower back when I was 18 and I got the heart with vines on the back of my shoulder when I was 19.

This is my foot, this was all handpoked with a single needle.. Hurt like hell!
I also have some fairly nondescript stars on my hip and a scarification piece on my back..

I really like your tattoo and I bet it hurt, there's not much fat on your foot!

I agree, they have a nice weathered vintage look to them, I have a few tattoos myself.

Phoenix on my bicep, took around 16 hours to complete.
