"The Secret Life of Bees" was just released on DVD today. I saw an advanced screening of it at the theater last fall, and it was excellent!

"The 7 Faces of Dr. Lao", a rarity that combines fantasy and the Old West. Tony Randall plays a Chinese magician who brings his mysterious circus to a small town. Features animation done by George Pal's team which only adds to it's charm.

you can't say something's 'lame' just because it's from a certain period of time, some of the best films are classics from that decade ;)

Good 80's movies include Back To The Future and American Werewolf In London, both of which are among my favourite movies ever. Don't diss the 80's, dude. :lol:

i remember watching that in fine arts. i thought it was unique and interesting.

p.s. i feel sorry for anyone who can't watch movies before the 80's.

I was going to say "Lawrence of Arabia", a fabulous movie that is mostly all true.

But it was made before the 80's ! !!

That's why I can't suggest any of W.C. Field's movies ! !!
