I always thought that song was creepy, even as a child.


It should be, considering that the little sing-song is actually about the Black Death. It describes the symptoms of the plague, how they burned the bodies and in the end, we all fall down. Rather macabre, for a children's rhyme.


Yeah, I always found it creepy even before I found that out.

But can human beings actually do anything 'random' if they have even a split second of forethought? Other than something done unconsciously during sleep (or other state of altered consciousness), humans think before they act, no matter what it is, rendering whatever they intended to do 'randomly' to something done intentionally.

Don't mind me. Another bad day at work, so I'm contemplating my reason for existence again.

I almost got kicked out of a museum today. If only my husband wouldn't have dragged my ass out of there. They wouldn't let us touch the sculptures. I have a nutty history professor.
