Don't worry about it----lots of times, threads go dormant, for a day or two, then spring back to life!! Also, don't hesitate to post twice in-a-row, if you've got something really good to say----MANY of us, do!! Even if you don't have something good to say, lots of people just post "bump", to get a thread noticed. Also, some threads are the kind that people post to, when they think of something----like, the thread about "What WP members, do you miss?". That thread can't be killed!! When someone thinks of something to say, they just go and dig it out!!

If you've got a really good quote that you wanna post, go ahead and post it!!

I've gotta go somewhere and see about something, and, as usual, I'm stuck, thinking about what bus route should I take, what time should I go, what other errands I need to do----and on, and on, and on, until I just get overwhelmed trying to figure it all out, and don't do anything. God, that drives me NUTS, about myself!!

I've got that problem, too, Campin_Cat. Then, things don't get done.

My technical writing class' computer lab has this adorable old Apple in a corner that's not in use. It looks like it's from the 80's. I wonder if they'd sell it off to me? What is it even for? It's so cute.

I haven't been around here that much over the past few days. I'd like my avatars to be able to match my moods, instead of having to look at the same one over and over again. I've also made the mistake of going into PPR and posting there.

I'm currently thinking of how wrongplanet has changed over the last 8yrs now. Also, thinking of trading in my laptop for a more up to date model if such exists..

I've owned the t-shirt my parents brought me back from Jamaica for a week now and it wasn't until this morning when I looked in the bathroom mirror that the wacky face on it is actually a Minion from Despicable Me. It's a black shirt with just the eyes, mouth and hair of a Minion on it. A Jamaican Minion, maybe?

I've never watched the Despicable Me movies except for a few minutes when I caught the middle of it on TV. When the second movie came out it looked to me like they should have just called it The Minion Movie and forget all about that guy who was supposed to be evil but adopted some little girls and read them a cutesy children's book with kitten finger-puppets, or something... that's the part of the movie I saw. I think they're coming out with a new movie with just the Minions this time. Go figure.

I'm having a weird night, tonight. I'm going to have some ice cream and hope everyone makes it out alive.

The pub over the fence has gone into receivership. That pub has been open since the 70's and all it took was one new owner with no brains to end it all. It's a shame.

I'm bored, and I hesitate between watching a movie or playing around with skyrim ... (sigh), I would like to divide myself into two to avoid having to decide (I crave both).

Such a disparity in insurance quotes for SRT8's. One I got back from GIO was $2500 8O. I think I'll stick with NRMA's $800.

I've been on that website IMDb a lot the past few days and it seems to me that their parental advisory makes a lot of movies sound more extreme than they actually are, or you'd have to be Ned Flanders to be offended by them. Like under "sex and nudity" they might say "A teenaged couple kiss", even if that's all they do. Or "shirtess men and women in bathing suits are shown at the beach." For Pete's sake, they're at the BEACH. In the summer. Going in water and stuff. Or under Profanity they mention everything even remotely offensive, even saying "gosh, darn, gee" may be bad. Or any type of name-calling like "Loser".

Man, if you think your kids shouldn't see any of that then you might as well lock them in their bedroom until they're 21 years old, and then when you let them out they'll have no clue about the world whatsoever and will probably end up killed. The irony.

Of course the movies are using the PG rating a lot more tan they used to so sometimes that makes a movie sound more extreme than it really is. Like PG for "mild peril". I am just a simple girl from the country, is that fancy talk for "excitement?" It seems these anything that actually keeps you from slipping into a 90-minute coma, even if you're a kid, that 'may not be suitable".

Of course I'm not saying little kids should be watching R-rated movies full of graphic sex and gore and constant f-bombs, I'm just saying the other extreme can be bad, too.
