I wonder what the workers in the Amazon warehouse think when I order a tiny piece of PVC pipe for $0.20 to get the free shipping.

Man, those specifically named .22 Long Rifle "Quiets" from CCI are in fact very quiet. 40 grain 5.6mm pill moving at 700 feet per second at the muzzle -- sadly, it has about 6 inches or so (my eyeball) drop at 100 meters when using said range as the zero for Standard Velocity loadings (1050 feet per second); you always have to give up something. They also hit my steel plate with far less authority (ting! instead of clang!).

I couldn't be fudged making a 100 meter zero with these, so I'll just do the usual, "aim several inches higher". It works.

The neighbors 200 meters away won't be able to hear them at all.

In a quiet town close to Portland, a softball team raffled off a rifle to raise funds for much-needed equipment. No joke.

There seems to be nothing good on TV these days.

I remember when WP was busier. I'm wondering if we will ever experience another busy period.

i was talking to a comrade today and i accidentally slipped a little arabic into my sentances. i continued speaking and hoped he didn't notice my english was broken. it's so hard to speak english, especially when im still stuck in the old country, especially when we're talking arab world politics, especially when the person speaks arabic or is muslim.

Just because you're a homophobic Christian that doesn't make homosexuals sinful, it makes you a bad Christian. Learn the doctrine you claim to follow, and follow Christ.

Fudge it, I'll move the POI up 10 inches at 100 yards -- that should be about on with the 40 grain pill @ 700 FPS. Just need to remember how many clicks so I can just go the other way when I change ammo. I'll stick with these quiet ones from here on for plinking. That'll be 40 clicks up.

Doesn't feel right to hold over on a target when you aren't using a mil-dot or similar reticle.

Sometimes I can't understand a word Chip and Dale say. Donald, too.

Won 5 and lost 5 battles now. I wish the cars I made that I actually really like would at least get a turn . I guess there's not many people still playing since the competition to win one ended.
