We all have accents. But growing up, I inadvertently picked up a couple of extra ones without realising it, because of all the US and UK TV shows and films I used to watch.
People used to ask me if I was trying to put on a "posh" British accent, or if I had any family from the US. It confused me a lot until I finally figured out what had happened. Eventually I forced myself to use a more Kiwi/Aussie accent (I grew up in both countries, so my natural accent lies somewhere in between those two).
Same question.
