It's hot and dry at the moment.

What weather suits you best?

Sure, but with this climate change, I feel ecstatic whenever there's a snowflake around. We didn't have a nice big pile of snow in a decade.

Do you like autumn?

No. I always hated it bc it symbolizes school to me.

Did you like going to school?

Studying? Yes. Recess? No.

What is your favourite season?

Autumn, especially the earlier part when it can still be quite warm. I like the darker evenings as well.

Same question.

Yes, autumn (and spring), when it's neither too hot nor cold, also, when the trees start changing their colours.

Do you like the sea?

Yes, though I've never seen much of it, as I've always lived inland.

Do you live in a quiet neighbourhood?

Not enough! One thing I like about autumn is that it gets quieter.

The same question.

Yes, it's generally pretty quiet in the area I live. There's actually a cemetery across the road, and the residents of that don't cause many disturbances. We do get the occasionalteenager racing around on a noisy mortorcycle, or even one of those awful quadbikes, but it's rare.

Do you expect to live another 40 years?

No! I'll be lucky to get another 10-15 years.

Do you ever watch TV (live broadcasts, not streaming or dvds etc) in the afternoon?

No, we completely turned it off long ago. We only turned on the tv when there was a major earthquake here 2 years ago. I do watch BBC, and CNN broadcasts though, but on my laptop.

Same question?

Yes I do. I watch the news during the day. Live horse racing when it's on and political things.

Have you been outside today?

(Chuckster): You need a licence to watch any TV in this country (£159 per year). I gave mine up two years ago, so can't watch any TV, except on YouTube, etc. Even when I had a licence, I rarely watched TV in the afternoon.

(bb): Yes, I've been to the post office and to Aldi early this afternoon, and may be going to Asda or Tesco Express in a few minutes.

How long ago is it that you last went anywhere by plane?
