Well, I've got a calculator, a magnifying glass and a carbon monoxide detector, so three then.

Do you ever go to auctions?

Oh I have about five carbon monoxide detectors. I win!

No but I'd love anything like that (minus the being-around-people part.)

What is the messiest place / room in your house?

This was the state of my 'living room' a few years ago. It's been tidied up a bit now, but it's still not what most normal people would recognize as habitable...

Is any room in your house as bad as that?

My storage room is like that. Actually worse.
The rest of my house is tip-top right now.
I'm so proud of myself, but that's because I had a party last night.

My bedroom is usually the worst of the frequently-accessed spaces.
That's because I can shut the door so no one sees it.

It's only fair. 8O

Please note, that's my subterranean pit of Hell.
It's two floors below ground and only used for storage.
It's not usually THAT bad, but I moved an entire flat home and there's been some rummaging for stuff lately.

The rest of my house is beautifully clean, and sparkling with Christmas joy right now.

Have you ever had a dog?

We had dogs when I was growing up in the 60s and 70s. Two of them were Alsatians (German Shepherds) - one was extremely aggressive and potentially dangerous, and my parents had to give her away. The second was a wonderful pet, and we had her from 1967-78.

Do you think your country is getting better overall, or is it going downhill?

Mood improving overall, in part due to my Buddhist practice. :)

Same Question.

I think I've been coping quite well this year, despite catastrophe after catastrophe which has occurred in my personal life. I have my bad days but overall I'm feeling Zen (not to make light of Buddhism, but really ...) Perhaps I'm just dissociated or a closet existentialist. I guess my answer is that I'm on flat terrain, neither uphill nor down.

Shall we dance?

No, I hate dancing and I'm a liability on the dance floor as I tend to mix up dance moves with kung fu and cripple my dancing partners.

Same Q

I'll only do it if it's a type of dance I view as appealing.

Which conspiracy theory do you think is more annoying:
the Flat Earth conspiracy or the one about the Earth being hollow?

oh those totally irrelevant, it captures some unfactual minds,
the mind makes up (or chooses) what it already knows or wishes

dance, i forever have failed synchronic moves,
it's like too much multitasking and then i get un-wired from that

how cold/or warm is it where you are?
