^ This vehicle, Messerschmitt KR200, has identical reverse and forward gears. The engine can be started to run backwards.

i am socially compelled to say " wow", so.....
"wow"! !! !
i do like your video, but "wow" is a bit too much for me to say with sincerity. i never felt or understood the "wow" factor.

what exactly does "wow" mean anyway?

With 40,000 acres maybe you will be able to find a little spot in which to turn around. Unless you particularly enjoy driving in reverse. :)

When I found out that Stone Temple Pilots had fired Scott Weiland, I thought, gee, that's unfortunate.

When I found out that they had replaced him with the singer from Linkin Park, I thought, what the hell were they thinking? What an awful choice.

When I realized that I haven't given a s#!t about Stone Temple Pilots in over a decade, I thought, I wonder if there are any pizza rolls left.

if i owned one of those, i would always drive it in reverse. that way, the faster you drive, the safer it is. for example, if i drove at -120 kph through a 40 kph school zone, then i would be driving at 160 kph under the speed limit, but if i was driving in a forward direction at +30 kph, i would only be 10 kph under the speed limit.

but it is all moot since i would never own a car like that because i do not like the color or understand what is written on the side of it.

what if the hedges went all the way to the garage door and one could only enter the house from a side door in the garage ?

i absolutely detest reversing. i thought i had come up with a solution to the potential problem of reversing to the main road 10 km away (in that hypothetical situation). the solution was not driving up my driveway in a forward direction, but backing up my driveway so that i would not have to reverse out the next time i went for supplies.

i then discovered that that was an inefficient solution.

so the solution i finally settled on was to have 2 cars. one always facing the house, and the other always facing the road, and a tow rope. in the morning, i would get in the car facing the road and tow the other car facing away from the road to the font gate where i would untether it and proceed to where i want to go.

when i get home, i would back my car into the driveway and tether it to the car facing my house, and i then drive the car facing my house back to my house towing the excursion car backwards up the driveway.

much easier than making a turning circle.

Here is the solution. My little car has a very short turning radius. What if there were a car that would turn on its axis, the way steam shovels do, for instance, and then would be "facing" in the opposite direction? Also some trollies I believe have a motor in each end so they can just go back and forth on the same track without turning around. But you will be too busy meticulously grooming all those hedges to worry too much about going anywhere. :)
