The lock on my tailgate is messed up again, I think it has to do with the power lock mechanism being too forceful.

My grandmother's dachsunds chased my poor cat all over the house, until she ran into the master bedroom. I closed the door to the master bedroom before her dogs could terrify her more. She is still traumatized.

I am depressed. People are liars most of the time.

it is the prime skill needed to be successful in the NT world.

a study stated that kids at certain age levels are expected to reach certain milestones and to be able to get away with a certain amount of lies... otherwise their development isn't by the book.... NT adults even admit they are lying at an average rate of 13 times a week according to the study... so they probably lie even more, but are lying about it to hide how sick they really are...

lying is normal.

go figure. 8O :?

some references:

Quote:
The presumption that others have a mind is termed a theory of mind because each human being can only intuit the existence of his or her own mind through introspection, while no one has direct access to the mind of another. Having a theory of mind allows you to attribute thoughts, desires, and intentions to others, to predict or explain their actions, and to speculate about their intentions. If a person does not have a complete theory of mind it may be a sign of cognitive or developmental impairment. The inability to lie is a sign that a child’s theory of mind is not fully operational – that child, in other words, cannot imagine that another mind exists within its own frame of reference and which can thereby be deceived.

In fact, one of the hallmarks of autism spectrum disorders is just such an impairment in the ability to imagine another isolated mind with its own sense of reality and perceptual constraints. Individuals classified as having autism have severe difficulty assigning mental states to others, and they seem to lack theory of mind capabilities.

I forgot my keys at the pool so I had to take the bus back up to the pool and get them. I did't have my afternoon tea, today.

you're welcome! :)

it boggles the mind that NT people are lying some 700 times every year and have to keep track of what they told to who.... wow. what a waste of capacities and resources...
