Dang, I like Kip's idea.

I think I'd settle for being a Were-Corgi. :D

Flying does sound nice! Likely a very common dream...

A corgi, Theta? That must be the most original were idea I have heard. Just curious, any particular reason why? Have you had corgis, are they a special interest, do you just think they're cute?
Or do you just hope to into Buckingham Palace? :P

Edited to correct typo

I've unfortunately never had a Corgi; I probably wouldn't be the best dog owner due to time and energy constraints, and there's not really enough room where I live for a dog. But they are one of my favorite dog breeds, along with Shiba Inus, Scottish Terriers, Boston Terriers, and Pugs. And Australian Shepherds, Golden Retrievers and Chinese Chins all make me happy too. :D

I mostly just think they're all cute and like their temperament, like you were saying. Thank you too for the originality compliment! :D Do you have favorite dogs?

Australian Sheepdogs are gorgeous creatures.

used to want one bad when i was littler but now this house seems jam-packed even with our little brown doggie (NO idea of her breed/ancestry)

Aw, you beat me to it. I was going to ask what kind of dog you had.

When in doubt, make it a new breed, I say. The Browndoge, for instance.

I have just visualized a Were-Chihuahua.

I think that I shall go back to bed after that.

😉

Yes, dogs take some time and energy what with being walked daily. That's why I don't want a new dog, I don't want a pet that is that dependent on me.
Don't get me wrong, I love dogs. We've had 2 and dogs are awesome! In particular our last dog, Viggo, who passed away in 2008. I would gladly have spent that time and energy daily if it meant having him back in my life. But I'm not currently willing to start new with a new dog. Hope that made sense.
Sadly, I shouldn't really have dogs either, being allergic. :(

I have never met a dog I didn't like (actually, that's not true; I met exactly one dog I didn't like because he was aggressive and his owner didn't help one bit), but I sure have fave dogs. :D

Collies are my fave dogs ever.

Other dog breeds I like even more than the rest: Shetland sheepdog, Australian shepherd, Labrador, border collie.

Imagine having a were-Chihuahua as purse dog!

I just realized this:

Sylkat clocks into work at 10:45 pm.

I never realized a dormouse had the potential to scare off night prowlers. Quite commendable!

Evidently Sylkat is employed as the resident ghost at the Smithsonian. :farao:

At the stroke of midnight she changes from an innocent dormouse into a were-Dobermann or were-Rottweiler to scare the bejesus out of any intruder daring to enter the building. :skull:

Well, going by stereotypes, I'd say a dormouse would be a good choice if the prowlers were ladies or elephants.

That's exactly how I feel about them. I didn't always like dogs, but I warmed up to them a lot. They're furry, they're happy and playful, they're loyal, they're sweet. What's not to like? I would be glad to have one as a pet, but I couldn't spend every moment. So the best arrangement is for me to like dogs from afar.

Yes, don't worry, that made sense. :) Viggo sounds like an awesome dog, and I love the name. Some are just irreplaceable.

Sorry to hear that! I was allergic to cats when I was little, but I spent so much time around them that it wore off, and now I don't think I'm allergic to any animals.

Yeah, I really like Terriers, generally. :D I just didn't want to overdo it and wind up putting every dog on my list.
