Last night I dreamed I was practicing to be the fairy godmother in Cinderella for a play or something. But in this version the fairy godmother is bad and evil, not unlike in Shrek 2, and she is jealous of Cinderella's beauty and finds her sweet, kind personality and love of animals disgusting, and even sings a song about it. I was having fun pretending to be really wicked. Yeah, pretending, that's it. Maybe the wicked fairy godmother makes the spell wear off at midnight on purpose not because she couldn't make it last longer, but because she wanted Cinderella to go back to being a slave in ragged clothes and and never get to be with the prince.
And I don't hate Cinderella, I liked the Disney movie and I even have a plushie of Lucifer the cat, who is surprisingly soft and cuddly in stuffed animal form.

I kept dreaming of guns. firstly I dreamt I was sitting in my kitchen and for some reason I had a .38 revolver in my hand, all loaded and ready for some vague but real threat waiting for me outside the door. I wanted to make sure I did indeed have an empty chamber to start with as I wanted to be sure not to shoot unnecessarily. it seemed to be going in slow motion, I had to force myself to turn the gun around and to swing out the cylinder to check for this. then somebody bashed in my door and ran towards me, a giant white dude with indefinite features but dressed something like a lumberjack, I aimed and shot but before anything happened [other than the first few milliseconds of a BANG!] I found myself witnessing an outdoors hunting scene where this guy with a rifle shoots this big cougar and it falls down dead, then in another scene another man shoots a wolf with a revolver and it falls down dead. then in another scene yet, in some fancy boutique these two effeminate men were making a nutrition drink out of peaches and onions and garlic, and they had a tame pet cougar on a leash, they served it to him in a tall wine glass and he eagerly lapped it out of the glass. then I awoke.
I had an interesting dream a couple nights ago.
It was another Howl's Moving Castle type of dream [the castle in question was stationary and looked so similar to the fairy castle!] I was Sophie, with her brown braid and turquoise dress, and there was a little crow who was sort of like a familiar. Even though he was tiny, he still tried to help out. Howl looked exactly like he does in the movie, though unlike my other dream, his hair remained blonde. It was night, and Howl and Sophie/me were on the balcony looking out at the stars and the beautiful countryside. Then these men dressed in black business suits showed up; we could see them down below in front of the door. They seemed to either want to take me away, or were after something precious I had. We barricaded ourselves in, and the castle seemed like a cave, but a calm, mysterious cave.
What do you think, aunt?

A really random scene where there's a giant guy with a matchstick on his hand, yelling "Where the yank?!"

I dreamt I was at my sister's place and for some reason the late supreme court justice Antonin Scalia showed up, made himself at home, sat at the table and proceeded to insult me, saying among other things, "hey longhair, how's this hopey changey crap working out for you?" I ignored him, got up and walked away with the sound of his hostile yammering ringing in my ears, ended up outside in some unfamiliar city, I had just parallel-parked my car and walked around and promptly got lost, spent the rest of the dream laboriously trying to retrace my steps, then awoke tired.
I dreamt someone I had previously only know as obese was skinny.
I kept looking at the person and the more I looked I began to realise it wasn't the same person at all, although she claimed she was.
Cut to the public pool kiosk where I was looking at the lost property display.
Lost wallets and phones were displayed in Perspex boxes with a slot to deposit them.
I thought, "My hand would fit in that slot. I could take one of those phones."
But I wouldn't.
But I could.
But I wouldn't.
But I could.
If I wanted to.
Cut to the public pool dressing room, where I'm parading around naked with my arms outstretched in an attempt to 'air dry' myself

I had a dream in which I seemed to be in Egypt with the Scooby Doo gang. There was a ring-shaped hole in the ground embellished with a circle of gold in which mysterious hieroglyphics were carved. The hole was completely black and shadowy, and I instinctively knew that to jump down the hole would be a seriously bad idea. The hole seemed to be talking to me [or at least, something in the hole], and weird white smoke rose from the darkness. Then a pyramid collapsed for seemingly no reason. What do you think, aunt?

^Thanks a lot, aunt!
I had a lovely dream last night in which I was Haku the dragon boy flying around with his beloved Chihiro, and we flew to a flying castle that had a secret garden full of flowers. We found an abandoned robot there, but it seemed to have a sense of humor, as it splashed Chihiro in the face with water and then completely drenched Haku [I clearly remember getting wet]. The irony is that Haku is a water dragon! Then we made some more new friends: a young blonde man in blue overalls [he seemed to be the garden's caretaker], and a giant fluffy white creature. Then another, older blonde man showed up and seemed to be annoyed that we were tresspassing, and Haku/I disappeared as everyone was captured. There was no sense of danger whatsoever, and I'm sure that in the next dream Haku/I will reappear and calm everyone down.
