Technically, Witnesses should fear a picture of a void rather than any specific demon/devil.

The "nothingness" of death is what they fear.

(This is what they are trying to save you from. Which is nice of them when you think about it.)

my left eye is so swollen that when I touch it, I'm almost convinced that i am Quasimodo - That is of course until i go and have a look at it in the mirror and realise "Oh i'll be damned! i am Quasimodo!!"

So tired now and need to get to sleep earlier. This week has included staying up too late and checking email and reading news on the internet. More time in the day would be appreciated. 8)

when i switch my wipers on, they begin their motion by swinging clockwise (left to right sweep). this means that the entire windscreen wiping sequence proceeds in the following manner: start>R-L-R-L-R-L-R....etc

last night, i switched my car off when the wipers were fully extended to the right, and the wipers stayed in that position (i did not switch off the wipers). today, when i switched my car on , the wipers swept over the windscreen in a back to front manner: start>L-R-L-R_L-R-L...etc.


i could not ignore the sensation that my wipers were going backwards even though i logically understood that it was a normal cycle, albeit 180 degrees out of phase with how i usually experience those cycles.

it bothered me greatly and i started to suspect that my wipers were not as efficient when wiping back to front even though i knew that that was a ludicrous suspicion.

when i got to the service station (i drove 1.6 km to the service station to get a loaf of bread and 2 litres of milk), i made sure i switched the wipers off before i switched the engine off so they would fully retract.

my trip back home was uneventful.
