This evening I started working on a big craft project I've been wanting to do for weeks: making a play pirate ship big enough for my Monster High dolls. I didn't want my cats getting in the way so I put them out of the living room (my younger cat needed a bit more persuasion) and shut the door. I had the AC on as it's very warm, and I was on the floor working on the ship. When I finally decided to take a break I was a little chilly, but when I opened the living room door and went out the rest of the apartment felt like a sauna!

Hmmm, I think I had an epiphany about my obsession today. It's not so much him personally but the fact that he's a representative of 20 something year old males everywhere. I guess I'm obsessed with the desire to be attractive to someone that age again. I mean, I wouldn't do all this diet and exercise just to gain his specific attention, that would just be silly. I don't think ANYBODY has noticed my weight loss yet, nor have they realised that I only drink coke when I go to dad's every 2nd weekend (I wouldn't ask him to buy another type of drink just for me). People seem to hammer on with the same tired jokes about what I eat/drink while ignoring the fact I come back from lunch with no food in my hand.

His sister is a shallow little size 6 thing. I felt inferior just looking at her (and she seems like the type who'd explicitly say I am too). Don't they say a guy's tastes are influenced by their female relatives?

I am terrifically angry and obsessed with the fact that somebody changed my prescriptions without telling me. I suppose the upshot is the same, medically, but I'm supposed to be part of the equation. I'm so mad my head is spinning.

Interesting thought.

My sister doesn't mind many of the things I like (she's a large rev head, though; I'm only a mini one), and her taste in movies/shows sometimes crosses over with mine (horror, sci-fi and whatnot). She'll enjoy fishing and shooting all the same, even if she doesn't seek it out.

She's also a boozer.

Could be something to that.

(Personality wise, we're quite different, though.)

On my mind right now:

What is that humming-ticking sound?
I hate her loud perfume!
My binder itches.
This keyboard tray isn't parallel to the desk.
I feel my stomach.
My binder itches.
I need to refactor this query.
I need to fix this query first.
My binder itches.
I like our dept being temporarily moved, it's quiet here.
Now my monitor isn't centered on the 'G' & 'H' keys.
My binder itches.
Oh, great. Now they are drilling over there.
Or sawing.
Whatever.
Someone bumped my lamp.
I need to walk.

That's awful. I've had that done to me and it's just terrible. It takes so long to acclimate to how a med makes you feel & how your body works/doesn't work with and they don't even consider it.

*Anyone else ever have to force a disconnect from the uber-pedantic & literal, "Well, right now I'm thinking about the posting form for this comment" ?

Today I tried the new blueberry danish and a medium tea at McDonald's. The danish wasn't nearly as good as the ones at Timmy's, but the medium tea came in a much more generous size. People are always saying how horrible the food at McD's is, how it's not edible at all and will make you violently sick. I don't really get it, haven't any of these people seen a show called "Kitchen Nightmares"? The local restaurants were like something out of a sci-fi horror movie (until they were saved by the end, anyway). Scary how they actually served stuff that would have made Barth the cook on You Can't Do That on TV lower his sweaty head in shame.

Maybe the food where I live is just better quality, whether it's fast food or gourmet, ha ha.
