I've got a couple.

Ken Russell - the film director

William Friedkin - also a film director (The Exorcist)

Zach Braff who did a meet and greet after a play we'd seen him in. Weirdly Donald Faison showed up too but I didn't speak to him.

Thom Yorke - singer from Radiohead. This was a good one, I was at Glastonbury and everyone except me it seemed was watching the Rolling Stones. I went and found a little campfire to sit near and then Thom Yorke wandered up and sat down next to me and we had a nice little chat.

Same Q.

NICE! ^

Lady Diana had tea at my university but I didn't get to meet her. I saw her from a distance.

Mats Sundin, Doug Gilmour, and a bunch of other NHL players.

My daughter had a smoke with Courtney Barnett after one of her gigs.

Scott Fisher - A second cousin of mine. A painter and a musician. One of his paintings went on to become the cover art of a Candlebox album. It's called Disappearing in Airports. He died of a Heart Attack back in the Fall of 2015.

My other ones are very UK-centric, I doubt anyone outside of here would know them.

Alistair Stewart - UK news presenter once asked me to change a ten pound note in a car park.

I met Kirsty Allsop from TV once.

I met Sebastian Coe when he was in Weymouth for the Olympics.

I wrote some scripts for Tommy Walsh who is a TV handyman and spent quite a bit of time on set with him getting increasingly uncomfortable at his penchant for racist anecdotes.

PJ Harvey the musician lives around here somewhere and I've seen her walking around Dorchester.

I interviewed Rowan Atkinson once for a magazine but that was over the phone so I don't know if it counts as having met him.

Ditto Steve-O from Jackass.

How do you dry your washing in winter?

On a clothes airer/horse, inside the house.

If you could choose to live anywhere in the world, where would you go?

if world means universe, one of the earth-like planets far out there.

if world means Earth, then Brazil or maybe Canada

if you could choose to permanently jump into a fictional universe, which would you live in?

Don't bother unless you want to work yourself to death.

My fictional universe is Gondal.

What triggers you to feel fed up with people in general?

Playground mentality, hypocrisy, and when people make totally random hostile accusations without explaining themselves but then say "I'm not going to talk this anymore". I guess that's called gaslighting.

Would you like to buy my 20 year old cat?

No. I wouldn't buy a cat that would seem to be near death by its age.

Have you ever dodged a train fare?

I used to do it a lot, before they got those barriers everywhere that you can't get past without a ticket. Time was if you could avoid the on-train conductor you were golden.

What would your username be if it wasn't what it is?
