One of my characters has a very intense stare. I didn't intend for him to look so unnerving, but that's the way his portrait is turning out. At least it fits with his character - he takes himself very seriously (though that doesn't mean I always do. In fact, I often enjoy imagining him in ridiculous situations.)

I had to stop for a really long noisy freight train today. It was going so fast too.

I seem to like trains for the sheer force, size and power behind them. I even put my windows down in the car so I could experience the sound.
My favourite part of dropping off my mum at the station is the loudness of the engine, and the fact that the train is only an arm's length away at the platform (feel the force as it rushes past).

However I do not feel the same way about city commuter trains.

they say that ostriches bury their heads in the ground when they are spooked.
what if one had 100 ostriches all corralled in a cement floored car park and then one released a lion who seriously spooked them all? would they all die of brain damage by trying to peck their heads into the cement?

I like to think there was a time in which not every single video game I played sent me running off to YouTube or GameFAQs, but I'm having trouble remembering it.

I'd reckon once I've bough a laptop I wouldn't need to buy another one in years to come. Amazon apparently doesn't share my opinion.

I'm eating chocolate again. At this rate I'll be looking like Rick Waller before too long.
