it's the hottest room in the house.

It has a huge dresser in which I do not keep clothes. I use it as storage for other stuff.

I have a ceiling fan.

i don't. the living/dining room, and both other bedrooms have ceiling fans i them and mine doesn't. just a tiny bulb on the ceiling activated by a relatively loud metal switch. often the first to go during a power outage and it's flickered during periods of strong santa ana winds. we just put a floor-length curtain on the doorway, so i "can have the door open and keep flies out."

My bedroom likes me so much that I spend 99% of my day in it.

I currently have a fuzzy blanket on my bed.

right above the (former) doorway to the kitchen there's a strange, paint encrusted nonfunctioning...thing, that sort of looks like one of those school bells with the clapper on the side. when i was a kid i used to ask my mom if the house we live in used to be a schoolhouse.

maybe it's just an old fire alarm. we also have a doorbell, an AC and a radiator heater, none of them work.

The room I'm in right now dates from 1902 (along with the rest of the house!).

mine's from the 30s of 40s, i think. somewhere around those tumultuous times.

My room contains the only blueprint (a vellum to be exact) in existence of a 1920s (1928) roller coaster that was never built. It would have been one of the most exciting roller coasters ever built, and it would have had tight highly banked curve drops similar to that of the Crystal Beach Cyclone. Perhaps someday it will be built.

I have a television and my computer in my room.

Our room (belonging to me and my fiancé) has a traffic light, a small vending machine filled with bouncy balls, and a light-up exit sign by our door.

Clutter, clutter everywhere and not a space to blink.

The carpet is a magnet for all kinds of dust, lint, cat hair, and dirt in general. Possibly because my bedroom is the only room that has a carpet. I vacuum it usually twice a week.

It's painted white
