I use a top sheet because it saves having to wash the quilt or quilt cover and all the taking off/putting on involved with that.
Also because I'm a snowflake.

do you think you own too much clothing?

Me???? LMAOOOO - Let's see. I have about four pair of 20 year old PJs, one pair of undies, two bras (only ever use one of them), and about four outfits including a dress or two for formal. My only purse was a used hand-me down from someone at work about 25 years ago and it's falling apart.

Is that a lot?

* I used to have all sorts of nice clothes because they were required for work.
I donated them all and turned my closet into a pillow fort.

Most of my clothes can fit in a single layer drawer, which is 2 weeks worth of clothing.

The rest are on a hanger; 3 sets of jackets and 3 long dresses.
It could fit to another layer of drawer, but I prefer to use that layer for something else...

I've yet to donate, recycle and craft out of my excess old clothing.

I have a lot of clothes that are just a bit too small for me because I've porked up in the last couple of years but I can't let them go yet because I'm holding on to the idea that this trend is reversible.

I also buy clothes that are too small for me if they're particularly nice because I think I'll be able to fit into them soon. I buy most of my clothes in charity shops so you have to buy things when you see them because they won't be there next time.

So while I don't have many clothes I can currently wear, I probably have too much clothing I can't currently wear.

Do you hang pictures on your walls? How do you choose?

I have a whole hallway of paintings, drawings photographs and a lino print.
I choose what I like.
There's photographs of pubs in my kitchen.
There's light photograpy and collages of wine labels in the living room.
A pic of me sitting cross legged in the back of my partner's van over the fireplace.
The only place I don't have pictures is in the bedrooms, because I find that freaky and I can't sleep.
Oh and bathroom/toilet because I haven't gotten around to it yet.
