Usually, I get lost.

Do you like peas?

Yep, I like peas. The only thing I don’t like about them is that they can sometimes be awkward to eat with a fork.

I'm weird with peas. I like them in some contexts but in others they're not right.

Is there something you always carry with you everywhere? What is its significance?

Out of the house?

My sunglasses and lip balm, even at night walking the dog.

For years I carried a macadamia nut in its shell, and a 24 sided D&D die.
I liked counting how many times a policeman would pick them off the ground after they made me empty my pockets onto the bonnet of the police car
Oh...and a small piece of sticky tape for taping a hair on the edge of a coin for stringing pinball machines.
Ahhh...that takes me back

On me at all times are phone, calculator, keys, hand sanitizer, meds, wallet, watch, and water bottle.
Whenever I can I bring a bag containing pens, bandaids, phone charger, hairbrush, earbuds, bandaids and other first aid stuff, lotion, tissues, cough drops, batteries, dice, a deck of cards, a measuring tape, a boxcutter, and a towel. Don't say I'm not prepared :D

What's the worst place you've travelled to?

Depends on your criteria.
Of the 22 odd countries I've been to, I have only ever been scared in the USA.

once to italy in a - what we in w-europe call truck,
Image
there wasn't a toilet anywhere, but there were camera's on the parking lots, jeez,
a country filled with malicious idiots that enjoyed making you wait for hours needlessly or sending your truck-combo up some dead end lane,
that was early 90s when italy was very dangerous for truckdrivers anyway

My worst travel experience was to Indiana, but not because of anything about the place itself. This past April my family went there and camped out to watch the eclipse, hoping to save money because all the hotels were crazy expensive that weekend. We were camped out near the highway in a huge open space with no trees and less than a meter from a (somewhat horrifying) lake. The wind was absolutely insane and very nearly blew our tents into the lake. So we started frantically calling hotels in the area, but of course everything was booked months in advance. We finally found a motel with an open room, but it turned out to be the most s**tty disgusting place ever, it reeked of cigarettes to the point I could barely breathe and there was no way we were sleeping there. Finally we managed to find a livable hotel and still made it to the eclipse so it wasn't a total disaster.
That was the short version--the full story is WAY funnier but won't fit here (and I think is better told verbally anyway).

What's the most recent creative project you've done?

Currently am taking a class that is about writing good comic books and graphic novels.

The first "big" assignment is due this Tuesday.

If you use primarily public transportation, what are some inconsiderate things
you have seen other passengers do?

People who stop and stand in the way of everyone or wander very slowly, just talking or reading a map, in busy train/tube stations. Such as right in front of the ticket barriers or after getting off a train.I understand sometimes people need to stop and get their bearings, but it’s more considerate to do it off to the side, not right in the middle of a walkway when 1000 people are trying to stream past you.

If I typed them all out I'd probably break this website. I took the bus to and from high school so it was full of teenagers being loud and obnoxious. Most notably, there was an incident involving french fries being thrown, several full-on fights broke out, just generally screaming constantly and making everyone else miserable, and of course refusing to wear masks during that period. And that's before I get to the inconsiderate things the drivers did...

I use the same bus system now in college and it's much better.
