Very true. I really think people under-estimate the potential for food to completely transform one's sense of well being. Although, there have been many studies showing that it can really help depression and so forth, people still put utter crap into their mouths and then complain when they feel down and ill. It is very odd. It sounds very generalized but I thought a couple of days ago that perhaps all the thoughts we have our the product of the chemicals we ingest in our foods. Perhaps our whole sense of self is dependent on what we consume. You are what you eat after all.

don't you own your own home? rip up the carpet might as well eat my dinner from a public toilet , I don't understand why carpet exists in this day and age if I was a dictator I would ban it on health grounds.

better yet with out carpet it makes the room feel so much more spacious 8O

ps how's this for gross in Switzerland it's not that un common to have carpet in the toilet/ bathroom it nearly made me puke :P

I have known many, many people to have carpet in their bathroom in the UK. My grans house does in fact. It seems to be mostly old people who tend to have carpet in their bathroom I find. Although, I suppose that is a rather ageist generalization.

I've been putting some bad strain on my hip joint. Had a little nature lover's group excursion just now, and half way through I felt the stress on my leg. Oh well.

We saw this awesome big badger burrow, and I regret not having taken my camera.

I agree I'm dumfounded by the crap people eat , time poor is no excuse you can buy frozen or dried foods to make a quick meal go to a supermarket and theirs a whole aisle of ready to eat crap yet in the frozen veg section it's the size of a large American fridge.

My friends mentioned that I have a mild accent that sounds European/British. I've never lived in Europe, but I developed that accent when I was little in a few other countries. I don't have any friends or family who sound like this, which I don't mind :)
