Wow! Pennsylvania and New York are hit and hit hard by that storm! So many people without power. . . yikes!

i did not think it was at his expense. it was not in any way tailored to him.
i just imagined a person who was continuously checking to see if their father had woken up, when in fact they did not realize their father was actually dead.

How am I going to tell Mum? Someone who I think is too old for me and not fully my type might like me? And how will I turn him down without upsetting him?

I used to love watching the equaliser on ITV.

I'd roll in on a Thursday night with a Chinese takeaway. Plate it up and take it to bed, roll myself a bifta and sit there in bed all nice and warm, watching Edward Woodward as The Equaliser.

the exterior of the empire state building is masonry which i am sure cats could not climb.

i have so much fun trying to compile a visual representation of what i like, but very often, there is no body who is interested in what i show.

so, i like to drive standard cars as fast as they can be driven and i have found a way to record them.

this is in the bernese alps with a VW beetle. 1 lap. i am flooring it most of the way.

At orchestra tonight.
We're going on tour to New Zealand later this year. One of the fundraising initiatives is a wine drive, and we've all just been given a list of wines/prices, and told to buy some or tell our friends too.
I turn to my friend, the other clarinettist, and say
"Well this is useless; I don't drink wine or have friends,"
and he just cracks up laughing.
