I love sci-fi so this was hard. Probably Blade Runner. I love Harrison Ford.

My question is this... if you could learn a spoken or written language, which would you learn and why?

I might learn Welsh. I visited the Welsh-speaking part of the country a few years ago, and felt even more detached than usual, even though everyone there speaks perfect English as well.

This is an interesting question - no harm in asking it again!

I'm not sure.
My top three choices would be Japanese, German, and Russian.
The first would be most practical based on my interests. I don't like having to rely on subtitles, especially since things get changed or "lost" in translations.

Do you usually eat the same foods at the same time every day?

I generally eat my pseudo-goulash [a mixture of whatever leftovers are in the fridge] between 11AM and 1PM each day, and I eat my nighty large salad between 6PM and 8PM.

do you think the singing of Robert plant [lead singer of led zeppelin] sounds mostly like caterwauling bobcats?

I've listened to a fair bit of Zeppelin's original stuff, and I don't see any issues with Plant's voice at the time. Quite what he sounds like these days I don't know, as I never listen to any of these coffin-dodging, past-their-sell-by-date acts, who ought to have packed it in 30-odd years ago. Anyone trying to do what he did in 1970 at his age is asking for trouble......

(End of rant)

Are you looking forward to the New Year?

Not particularly. I feel rather neutral about it.

Yes. I like it in soup, as a salad, and wrapped around sushi.

would you rather drive a smooth-riding [magic carpet ride, not feel any bumps] but not sharp-handling car,
or
a rough-riding [feel every bump on the road to a punishing degree] but sharply handling car?

The former. I am not in the habit of racing in my car.

Marvel or DC?
