i would like to purchase the indexes of all the major philosophical books and memorize them. i do not wish to purchase the pages that the indexes refer to...just the indexes.
that way, if anyone starts a philosophical conversation with me, i will be able to refer them to the correct page in the book that they should read to resolve their contemplative deficit rather than manually involve my self in their thought process.

(i did not use the plural "indices" because that applies to a different meaning of "index")

i wonder if they have elevators that are designed to lift alligators.
i suspect not. if someone claimed that they had seen an "alligator elevator", i would like to check out the veracity of their claim.

then i would be able to call myself an "alligator elevator investigator".

disclaimer:
i happened upon this sequence of words in my mind when i was thinking idly whilst driving to katoomba yesterday, and when i repeated the phrase over and over, i became entranced by the way my mouth and tongue were able to move so delicately as to pronounce it clearly and without hesitation.

i say it as all one word..."alligatorelevatorinvestigator". and it is like a mental dance. it is not a tongue twister but a tongue conditioner.

I slept for a while yeserday. Is that bad?
