this didn't happen today. it happened on friday but i didn't moan about it then. i went to see the doctor. i was 9 minutes late. it was very awkward. i hate, hate, hate going to the doctors, especially if it is a psychological thing. i had to talk about how asd is affecting my academic performance and i didn't know how to articulate it. i don't think i explained to her what happens when i rock properly. i didn't know what the equity and diversity unit lady wanted either. i wasn't sure if i was supposed to get a referral to a shrink to talk about AS stuff or possible ADHD stuff. i do not think the doctor thinks i have ADHD because she asked if anybody else had said i might have it and i said no & i didn't tell her i do not speak to people but then she said shrinks do both AS and ADHD assessments. she gave me a referral because she said my papers gave an indication of what i was like years ago but it would be good to get an "assessment". i do not know what this means. does she mean re-assessment? i do not want to loose my aspergers Dx. i know i am autistic, i do not want to loose the label. i am really worried about that. i know my symptoms and i know they still classify me as having ASD but i don't think anybody else does because i cover pretty well. it's not like people notice me faking eye contact or watch me meltdown. are people allowed to tell shrinks they want to keep a Dx whilst pursuing another? she also recommended a psychologist to help with social skills but the thought of going to one of them repels/unnerves me. psychiatrist is bad enough. i hate those people. this is freaky and it makes me all confused and scared, mostly scared.

My doorbell rang so I ran upstairs and hid for 30 minutes as my parents were talking to him.

Guess my mom's new laptop (newer than mine at least) has gone completely to waste to the point it's unusable and all she did on it was listening to online radio stations using internet explorer. (the whorror)

Can't even access the volume mixer on it because it's that slow.

Even in the best case scenario, seeing how long the whole process will take...how much effort is involved...
It's making me unhappy and worried, enough to put me close to meltdown right now, but as there are no firm plans I can't talk it out.
