Well, it's the end of my second full day in America and I've made two interesting observations
1. Autism seems very much more publicised than in the UK, but that may just be the time of year
2. The cones are friendlier

On my way home from work on Friday, I saw someone throw themselves under a train.

What a thing to do.

Sometimes things happen that make me stop thinking about me me me all the time.

When someone goes to take a shower, why do they say, 'Jump in the shower?' If I did that, I would wind up with a concussion.

Well yes I'm ok thanks. It's just one of those moments where it makes you realise that some people must be so desperate.

It's a bit of a strange feeling really.

I witnessed a similar thing about ten years ago, except it was someone threw themselves out of a window in a high rise block of flats.

That one was worse because it was my first.

It's the amount of blood that's unbelievable.

It is very upsetting indeed.

I'm so bored. I have nothing to do.

Don't get caught hand flapping at work. It's embarrassing!

I'm wearing my "TEAM ASPIE" t-shirt here at work and a Chinese colleague asked me, "What's an Aspie?". I told him, "Someone who's really cool!" and he asked me "What's someone who's really hot called?"!

I should have said "A female Aspie!"

It was so noisy in the shopping centre, I was so glad to get home to the peace and quiet.

I just realised, I haven't offended anyone for a while (that I know of) by saying the first thing that comes to mind.

What made me think of this is a female colleague was telling me about her son (whose name is Burpin (could have been Burfin???)) and I nearly made a joke of his name when suddenly I thought "Ah-Ah!" and the muzzle snapped into place.

The first time I remember my brain/mouth problem getting me into trouble was way back in primary school when I accidentally started World War Three by telling a boy that he might have had homosexual tendencies. Apparently, he didn't see it as harmlessly as I meant it and for the next year, he kept launching unprovoked, sneek attacks on me. Luckily, he was little enough to just bounce off!

I don't know how many times I've promised myself over the years that I'm not going to talk to anyone any more.

I am currently peckish and wide awake.
I am on the first level of the abyss.
It is the third day of my imprisonment.
I guess that it is currently late evening.

I see a hostile mongbat.
I cannot pick that up!

If you get a chance to hear a lecture by Dr. Nathan Wolfe, then take it.

...unless you have a germ phobia, then you probably won't enjoy a lecture by a microbiologist.
