The fact that I single-handedly destroyed my career by leaving my job last year. I'm the biggest idiot ever, and no one seems to understand.

As cute as those cats are, it's more complicated than that. You see, my first job was at an office building near a zoo as a clerical assistant. I worked there for four years, until my support administrator forced me to leave so someone else can have a chance at my job. I then worked at a loan company, same occupation; I was laid off a few months later. I had three more jobs, and to be honest, they all sucked. I had to put up with annoying coworkers, receptionist work (which I am no good at due to my poor social skills), demanding bosses, heavy workloads, and very little pay. What made me quit my last job was the fact that my job was too far from where I live.

I applied to a couple jobs, with no such luck. It's not like anyone will hire me anyway, because I have been unemployed for almost a year. Although my husband has a job and I am on SSI, I don't know how much longer either one will last. I just feel hopeless.

Is there an online job you could do at home?
Don't feel hopeless! We're all here for you! I'll pray for you tonight as well.

Sadly, I don't have any work online, though I do wish work would come naturally to me.

I also don't get why my SA forced me out of what I considered my dream job. I actually cried on my last day there.

Yesterday, my husband chastised me for not looking hard enough for jobs. He told me I searched for only two when I should be finding more. I feel that job searching is a chore anymore.

I think I worry too much.
I used to be so mellow.
I wonder how that changed.
Or, perhaps I do know.
Who knows.

In many ways I feel like WitchsCat, as I've found a great amount of harship in the work place in fact, I' feel that I've screwed up my work history over the years though, having to deal with unpleasant co-workers, deadlines here, deadlines there, as well find that some career choices were literally not suited for me at all..
Therefore, WitchsCat, don't give up even when things seem so bloody daunting as a task and appear hopeless.

Why didn't I use word to type out my reply, the captcha glitch ate it and wouldn't let me go back to retrieve it, what's the point of a written communication tool that makes words disappear :(

I can't stand that Captcha crap since, it all has to do with dealing with spammers.

What puzzles me is that I have never experienced the Captcha glitch in 'Off the wall' ...the place that I sometimes spam with pictures of flowers. :jester:

Hi Amity- When the CAPTCHA takes you back to the empty message box, just page-back (<--) twice, and you will find that all of your text is there. Always copy, prior to submitting, in case, for some reason you are unable to retrieve the page that contains your text. x

Currently thinking of how music and movies both have changed over the many years sometimes good, sometimes bad..

Right now I'm thinking about the mountain climb I'm doing tomorrow with my best friend. It'll be great to get well above the tree line and up into the sun, maybe even a little new snow, together with the person who has known me for the longest and knows me best.
