I'm sorry for your loss. :( You'll be in my prayers.

My unhappy thought: I had to work with two people who had no idea what they were doing all day today.

Tom Cruise turning up to the Man United Man City game by helicopter supporting neither club and only there because Beckham told him to be. Waste of a seat for a die hard fan imo. Biggest derby game going and that turns up

Thank you.
At the funeral I saw my dad cry. I had never seen him cry before. I was the only one not crying. I feel bad about that.

I had to have a tooth root cut out of my gum on Thursday, and I'm still in a lot of pain with it now although it looks like the wound is healing well. But still I feel like I have been kicked in the jaw, my face is swollen, red and hot on that side, and I can't get comfortable.

And...

I can't even have a good whinge about it since my sister had a caesarian birth at the same time I had my surgery!

As with so many other days...what makes me unhappy is what my country is doing to the poor and vulnerable. Those on disability benefits have to go through testing by ATOS, the tests are deeply flawed and their staff are nothing short of evil. Todays story that made me unhappy...

Quote:
The lady is now in hospital and a medical lawyer is now involved so she must remain anonymous due to legal reasons.

My friend had a visit from an atos doctor today. She has a serious spinal injury and has had an operation which has resulted in her not being able to dress without help or go to to the toilet etc. She has to wear a neck brace as well. The doctor arrived told her her husband wasnt allowed in the room told her to strip to her underwear which she really struggled to because she cant ...bend etc without immense pain. They then told her to take her neck brace off which she isnt supposed to do because of the operstion. They told her to walk 20ft without her stick which she couldnt do so she had to hold ont the dog and they made her stand for so long that she wet herself which went all over the doctors boots. She feels degraded and humiliated. She has never claimed for a penny in her life and fought for queen and country. She has never felt so disgusted in her life and was left shaking and in tears.

The fact this treatment is going on and because of government and media propaganda no one cares...that's devistating. I'm due for re-assessment in January, I won't be treat like this lady but it makes me worry that I'll be found fit for work (she probably will be too).

I fried my brain last night studying for two last-minute quizzes in AP EURO.

At least I passed them. I think I could have done better on the Enlightenment quiz. :?
