The only place that a circle exists is in the Human Imagination.

The circumference of earth or the sun is pretty much a circle.

Let me rephrase that : A Perfect circle does not exist in Nature!

The Earth has mountains and valleys and the Marianis Trench, deep under the sea.
The Sun is a seething miasma of nuclear eruptions, exploding continuously.

Even if you could see a Black hole or an electron spinning around a nucleus,
they are not perfect circles.

They ALL have flaws or perturbations in their orbits.

Aye thats true. I'd say thats because the concept of perfection is a subjective one that comes from the human imagination as is but thats just me heh. Presumably at one point in the existance of the universe an electron somewhere has performed an orbit that was a perfect circle. I wonder...

It's at times like this I wish I was a physicist or a philosopher... :chin:

@ Doornroosje,

working with a spindle? Yep, I can imagine that but just keep trying. You can do it.

(sorry voor het heel flauwe grapje)

haha

I'm definitely going to keep trying! I like how, when making your own yarn, you can decide the thickness/colour etc. e.g. if I want to I can mix a myriad of colours into the yarn.
I think I'm going to look up a video tutorial, I got some written instructions with it, but it's not helping much:P

So one of my teeth got sensitive overnight.
I was just brushing my teeth when the bottom bit of it started to hurt in this horrible way that only teeth can hurt>_<
Gave me goosebumps.
And even now when I touch it with my nail, it's the same horrible feeling.

I hope this doesn't mean I have to start looking forward to a root canal treatment in the future or something.

(someone tell me they've experienced this too in their life, and that it cleared up... please?:p)

My life may not be worth anything on society or even this entire world but through alien technology, my farts have saved galaxies light years into the universe. Many civilizations will retell my legend and I will be a hero to them and their children for the rest of eternity!! :P

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

JACKPOT YOU WIN

That was not really a difficult quiz.... so a somewhat more difficult question in return (for all and with google (other search thingies) not difficult at all, I suppose.... Um, 'Gnooti Seauton' (meaning know thyself) is an inscription on a old Greek temple, still standing nowadays, but where?

(and the temple honoring which goddess?)

I finished spinning the wool :D

It snapped in two places :(

Now it's soaking, so it can relax a bit and not kink up as much, in the end.

I think I'm going to continue the housewife trend and go bake some chocolate chip cookies ^_^

Today, I finally managed to do something that I've trying to get done for a couple of months. It should have taken days at the most.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
