I want my nanna to get a new PC, but she won't.

My father's mother had breast cancer around the time I was born. She was treated and cured. She smoked a lot and eventually got lung cancer, which went to her brain and killed her after 9 months. My father speculates that she didn't want the treatment for cancer any more. Whenever he offered to drive her to the hospital for her lung x-ray, she said she would get a taxi or go with someone else. At least once when he did drive her, she insisted he not go in with her and that he drop her off in a certain place, where he speculates she went to a coffee shop and stayed there until he came back to pick her up.

I have been in the hospital for 4 days in the last year to date

My father says he was hoping Nana would outlive Grandpa because then she could travel and do things she had never done, and enjoy her life without the oppression of her husband, but he outlived her.

My father's parents argued a few times under my nose as we sat at the kitchen table, while Nana was clacking away on her almost-antique typewriter and Grandpa was smoking, eating or just sitting.

I want money, but mum won't give me any.

My father never took me to see Grandpa in the veterans' hospital that was his last home, because he didn't want me to see him, plain and simple. He didn't want me to "see that". He wanted me to be as far away from Grandpa and his other relatives, particularly his sister and her husband and daughter, as I could get.

I can't choose what to have for an avatar, so I give each of my obsessions, equal time.

Grandpa died in the veterans' hospital 2 years after Nana died. I didn't know he was dead until after the funeral. When someone at the funeral asked him where I was, he said that I was at school and that he didn't want me to miss school.

I confess that I got bored, anxious, depressed and angry sitting in class learning nothing while my life got shorter and shorter.

I think that I'll have some more homemade Hamburger Helper. I make it with elbow macaroni, ground beef, onions and tomato soup.

I had ham, sausage, baken, eggs, hash browns and pancakes for breakfast.
