It rained today.

I massively grinned today.

We are not used to this are we?

I may have to borrow the neighbour's hose pipe - she isn't on a water meter.

United Utilities are imposing a hosepipe ban in our area, starting on 5th August.

I've had no notifications for the last four days, anyone else? I'm having to go through threads one by one. Hello by the way.

It could be unrelated, but all my notifications have been sent to spam by my email. If something's changed behind the scenes, that could be tripping some filter maybe?

I put the kibosh on all 'notifications' within a couple of weeks of joining WP, as they were an absolute pain in the neck and were threatening to overwhelm my email inbox. I would suggest that it may be easier to live without them than one might initially have thought.....

I never get "notified" of a thread.

I just take a quick look-see----and see if I feel like responding.

I'll look around, once I make a post, to see if somebody responded.

^I think I'd get anxious that someone might ask me a question or something and I'd miss it.

The problem with the notification thing is I didn't know I wasn't getting them, I thought WP had gone quiet because of the changes on it.

A good summer of sport for us.

The world cup went better than anyone could ever have expected, we have a driver top of the F1 table, the leader of the Tour de France is Welsh, we already beat Australia 5-0 in the ODI cricket series and just beat India 2-1 last week too!

Shame there was no Glastonbury this year. Glastonbury weekend always feels like the start of the summer to me, I watch and listen to as much as possible. Never been though.

I bet this will be a record-breaking warm summer in most of the UK.

Already is I think
