I'll 3rd that

Work secret santa. Gaaahh, I buy something and say to myself "that'll do" and then I spot something that's even better and so them.

I was just thinking how people used to commonly just feed dogs and cats the animal parts people didn't want to eat - butcher shops would put out beef entrails out for the dogs, and fishermen would feed fish heads to the cats. Now we see ads for expensive pet food where they claim that if it's anything short of filet mignon you are a horrible owner and your pet will die prematurely.

On the other hand, there's that BARF diet (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) where you give dogs and cats the animal parts no one wants and it's supposed to be healthy for them. But there could be all kinds of bacteria in it that's bad for them and humans, so I don't know. The companies want to make people paranoid ever since the big pet food recall just to get rich.

No matter how many years you may have had your driver's licence, there are days when you feel like a P-plater all over again.

Hoping to purchase a graphics card and being able to install it and it being detected by windows without any problems so, I'll have the capacity to play some games from time to time..

Java Programming.

I am failing to comprehend the very basics of the programming language. I made a promise to my father that I would not give it up, but the temptation is now beginning to grow. There seems to be a never ending list of terms to remember and it's immensely infuriating how slow my brain operates!

Sleep and how it continues to elude me

I miss the feeling of the possibility to connect. I'm angry it was so fleeting. I'm annoyed with my parents for whitewashing the past. Their concept of who I am is whitewashed also. I'm still the gifted one who never tried.

Apparently the voice recognition in the (now) previous model 300's uConnect system doesn't work here in Australia (big customer stink, ACCC investigations and everything). Sometimes buying totally pov pack by foregoing the uConnect and satnav has it's benefits. Not that I would have ever figured out how to use the damn things anyway. Really glad I decided to go a brand new de-spec'd model over a used upper spec older one. However they have encrypted the ECU software on the new ones so tuning will be impossible or expensive.

Did they ever think to try a Yankee or Canadian accent though? Maybe said system finds Aussie bogan a bit hard to decipher

Vaguely amused that toilet paper manufacturers find it necessary to print cute little designs on something I'm gonna wipe my arse on.

I'm going to be dropped off at my apartment tomorrow, and than I'm going to go to 7-Eleven. I'll purchase an energy drink or two and I'll head back to my apartment. I'll get myself high, in order to block my upbringing from my mind.

considering playing a game even if I don't have a discreet graphics card..

I'm mentally checking everything for my trip tomorrow.

I'm SO ready to spend five days with one of my favourite people in the world.

Finally logic and rationalization have won in my head. Maybe now I can get some normal sleep with finals being this coming week. Now I just have to keep it that way and not let myself try to form another crush on someone.

This is all in my head.
Until it spills out of my mouth and makes an unholy mess and trips me up.
