Da bu de da bu di
I just wanna be the guy
But only when I'm floating on cloud 9
Moments like this I feel so alive
Life is unwritten
Like clouds in the sky
Come on out for one night

Da bu de da bu di
Don't let tonight die

Yesterday I saw lots of white XR6's (same year model and everything) all lined up behind one another at the entrance of Panthers. It was really creepy.

List o' things when I go and git the pew stick:

-scope; try and find a cheapish fixed 6 power with a typical duplex reticle; too old fashioned for variable power scopes. Though I bet the cheap ones will all be 4-9000000 or something ludicrous
-bipod; cheapest, which I think are the Remington ones. I prefer bipods to shooting sticks as you can just fold the legs up and lean the forend on something hard without denting the timber stock
-sling, leather, thin
-ammo; a couple of types, light and fast and heavier and slower

All for that one rifle. Should have a good long range varmint rifle then. The triggers are the weak point on H&R Handis, but I'm used to them (plus I learnt to shoot with a CZ-100B pistol; enough said there if you're a shooter).

Don't think I need anything else otherwise. Perhaps a brick of 500 subsonic .22LRs which they always have on special, you know, for the zombie bandicoots.

Well I was gonna do my hair but it appears the hairdresser already blowdried it straight. Would be no point since if I was to straighten it I would just wake up in the morning with it looking the same as it does now.

And again, the owl calls. The night predator.

For some reason I started imagining the beetle stopping and answering your questions.

How did you get in here?

"Completely legally. I have a passport! Really! The reason you can't see it is that it's very small, and definitely not because I don't have one! DON'T SQUISH ME!"

What are you even looking for?

"I seek knowledge."

Do I need to put you outside?

He's probably buried off the side of the highway -- some road leading into a state park or other service. Far, far too many places to bury someone even without pre-planning. Several years down the track someone will talk -- they're too dumb and proud not to.

Slavery-types would probably be far more quiet about the take (no kid playing in a yard), though it's still possible.

I'm in a friendship that i didn't initiate. It was forced upon me by my 'friend'.
I sit there with him not knowing what to say thinking "He's going to get very bored with me!", so i try to think of something to say (avoiding my Special Interests) and it falls flat on its face because he gives one syllable answers.

But he keeps inviting me over. Often, I wish he would just forget about me.

My only friend!

I wonder how long this one will last.

i remember when the little buses used to have doors, they were double doors that would open by moving away from the bus (fuselage? chassis?) and move away horizontally. i don't know when or why they suddenly removed the doors from the town shuttle (the waterfront shuttle never had them to begin with), all i know is that it was sometime in '09, maybe late '08.

the crosstown bus still has the box housing the system to open the doors unused, it hangs right above the 'entrance'. and these buses are tiny things. four wheels, i don't think the electric ones can go much faster than 65 km/h. it's bit unnerving just sitting right across the perpetually open doorway and seeing the road zoom by.

I'm going to trade the .45 cal Kentucky flintlock rifle in for the rest of the down-payment on my new rifle; it's good, but I couldn't be bothered with black powder. Someone should be shooting it; not sitting in my safe doing bugger all.

It's worth a bit more than the rest of the down payment (only $186 on that left), but I don't mind.
