I bought a lovely angel-wing necklace that is crystal-y and sparkly like a diamond rainbow!

Raleigh: Well...it's sort of for me...but it might end up being a 'sharing' present with someone else one day.
I can just imagine Kraftie throwing a noodle at Raleigh from wherever he is.

I would prefer to have no contact with your noodle

What cookies would you bake and why are they cookies and not biscuits?

I'll take a biscuit even if it is not tea time officially.

The biscuit kind, not the snow kind.

I'm in America. A biscuit in America is something which is salty (what I think the British call "savoury"), and which takes either butter or gravy.

A cookie is primarily the British biscuit.

The American biscuit is something somewhat akin to one side of a meat pie in British-influenced places.

I wonder where the name cookie came from?
I imagine someone saw a plate of biscuits and asked, "What are these?"
And someone replied, "I don't know. They're Cookies."
Meaning they were made by the cook.
Maybe I just have an active imagination.

We call salty biscuits "crackers".
