Maybe I should think about getting some test drives underway.

Next time you're up this way you should hit the dealers (I'm guessing there's more choices here).

Yes, lots of lovely hail dented choices.

Though buying in Brissy or GC would be easier than Melbourne logistically since I could just drive 90 mins to Tweed Heads RTA to register the car (and pop into some random mechanic and get the blue slip on the way there).

Metallic beige/gold is such a sleeper colour. Butt ugly, but a good sleeper colour.

I'm sure they'd let you test drive stuff even if you're from out of state. That'd be a good way to find if you like the cars or not from a practical side.

random topic forum. Not discussing cars forum...

Nah, just kidding :D Go for it! :D

(but I must admit, it's getting a bit boring. Get a room. Go to the IRC channel and you can talk in real time about cars, paint colours, etc. until you're heart's content).

Wow $500 off! These dealers sure know an impressive deal. Nawt.

Meanwhile there's a lovely SSV commie for sale here in town. I might just give up and go for that. Then I can stop posting about cars, because, apparently somebody thinks they can dictate what I post here.

I'm pretty sure no one is talking to you about cars.

This place is a, talk past others about your interests, area.

Oh,... well,.... ah,... I must be hallucinating again. Been doing a lot of that lately. Don't know why but it's the weirdest thing. I mean, I know it's not real and I'm a man of above above average intelligence. I know what is being heard is not really there but DAMN it sounds so real.

I've got what is known as MES (Musical Ear Syndrome) and it can basically occur in anyone but it's far more prevalent in people who are near the onset of deafness.

There was even a story about a deaf woman woke her husband up in the middle of the night because she was hearing music!

I'm still going to go with a V8 '73 Falcon Coupe for the dream car, or better, one I'd buy if I got my license.

I like the third generation Prelude (family had one of those), as that thing is a powerhouse for its size. The only problem is that it was so low to the ground that you had to be careful when hitting gutters and ramps. These would be easier to find.

It's the time of the year when my laptop overheats and shuts itself down. Or maybe I just need a new one. I've been using this one for eight years.

UA988 from Frankfurt to Washington has just passed over my house [in Scotland] at 34,000 feet and I heard it.

It is broad day light and someone has just had a brief firework display outdoors. What a waste.
