Oh, do you like Christmas that much? I used to but I just don't seem to get enjoyment out of it anymore. For that matter, I don't seem to get enjoyment out of anything anymore except being alone!

I believe the word I'm searching for would be, "anhedonia". Almost sounds as lovely as "solitude" but not as nice.

I did have anhedonia for a while until I got my blood chemistry under control. anyways, xmas [the season from September through December 31] is the only time of year I feel human. it [for me] is like heaven descending down within reach of earth. people are temporarily nicer to each other during this season, there are lots of pretty lights and decorations and lots of nice music.

it all goes away come January 1.

the coming gray damp cold january
is to me but depressing and scary
it's like pushing a big ol' stone yet again
up a steep slippery hill against the grain
why can't it just be december forever
and for once and all, january never?

Phone is fine, I found out. I can talk to people on the phone and it doesn't disrupt my alone time. I just got a call from my daughter and it (almost) didn't affect me.

I know it's because I know we're in physically different places and she's only a click away. I do love her though! I just can't live with them anymore. I can't live with anyone anymore. I don't want to.

I will never drink apple/pear cider again! There is a hint of beer-like taste to it. Yuk!! !

The only good thing my grandfather ever did was give me Asperger's.
Apart from that, he was an entire butthole!
