Watching "2001-space odessy" for the first time, and I must say it is the worst film ever, it's just people sitting around with weird music playing.

Actually, I get what you're saying...
well the film is very old.
I saw it for the first time more then ten years ago and liked it ever since;
but when I try to watch older films, I do find them too... well... old
