We must reject the idea that every time a law gets broken, it is society that is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the precept that each individual is accountable for his or her own actions. No one is above the law and no one is below it: nor do we need to ask any one's permission to expect them to obey the law.

The concept of private defense should be taken much more seriously (but then I am an Austro-Libertarian).

Laws shouldn't create blanket age requirements. Educating people about the activities that are currently restricted in such manners once they are physically capable to perform them, then distributing licenses would likely be a more successful (but less efficient) approach.

I'm a strong defender of the 2nd Amendment even though I don't want to own a gun myself.

Sixstring, I actually think Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones is the worst Star Wars movie of all time. Episode I at least had Darth Maul and Qui Gonn Jinn, and even though it sucked by all means, Star Wars was truly destroyed for me when Yoda got into a lightsaber battle with Count Dooku. And with Two And A Half Men, it's the creator of the series, Chuck Lorre, who is the real tool. Otherwise I like Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer... with reservations, of course.

When I was still delivering pizza, some of the local arsewipes would scream this at me, mostly to show their superiority, despite the fact I had a master's degree, and was between careers. Many we're the times I wanted to slam into their respective cars with mine, jump out of mind and strangle the living $h*t out of them. However, since I was "on the clock," I couldn't do that, due to 1) my arse would have been arrested, and 2) I would have been fired, once the incident got back to management.

If you want to call yourself a "writer" and subject others to poetry, blogs, books (and more) you should probably know how to spell the words taught in 2nd & 3rd grade!

I think all this business of not saying NO to children when they are naughty is stupid, same goes for all children having medals and not having 1st, 2nd and 3rd in sports.
All that happens is when they're adults they'll think they should have the top job and not start from the bottom of the ladder.
