They're bitter, spineless cowards, man.

I can understand positive anonymous messages for fear of rejection or ridicule, but I was under the impression negative anonymous messages for fear of moderation or disrepute is not allowed. If saying it to a person would be offensive, or get you moderated, or is downright deplorable to say, why bother dressing it up as an "anonymous message" to "another user"?

Maybe if you weren't trying to be nasty in a way that's both deniable and obvious, and maybe if this hadn't (predictably) provoked a response in kind, this thread would not be locked.
