What is your favourite part of the UK that you are not from?

I would probably opt for Cornwall or Pembrokeshire. Both very quiet places with a slow pace of life. Been to Scotland twice and really liked it but they were both trips to quiet areas for walking. Walked up Ben Nevis last year, loved it.

Never been to NI

I guess I really shouldn't answer that question....since I'm not from the UK.

But I would really like to experience the Highlands of Scotland.

I've never been to Norfolk and am curious about places like Great Yarmouth and King's Lynn.

Also would like to check out Scottish cities like Aberdeen, Dundee and Perth. The only Scottish city I've much experience of is Edinburgh.

Some of the best weather we have had over the years has been during 'Indian Summers' in September and even October, though it's unlikely that anything that might occur later in the year will surpass what we've experienced this June and July.

I may be wrong, but I think Summer over here officially continues until September 21.

That's true for the Autumnal equinox.

In a meteorological sense, summer in the UK comprises all of June, July, and August.

As meteorology is one of your special interests, kraftiekortie, I'll take that on board. :)

Thank you, Sir.

I actually just read that, recently, in the Met Office UK website.

I have never been to anywhere in East Anglia. I feel like there is a whole chunk of the country, one known for beautiful scenery, that I have completely ignored.

I'd like to have a caravan and travel round the UK. I visited Wales a few times, years ago, it was really nice, but I've seen very little of England and nothing of Scotland or Ireland. I don't like changing places I stay though, so I would like to be like a tortoise and take a small home with me. I'm also quite tempted to try living in a caravan permanently.

There's a woman on YouTube who lives in her car and drives around the United States.

She keeps herself clean. She has a few jobs.

Camper vans seem to be quite popular these days.

I know a few people who make the most of their little mobile homes.

Like picking a nice beach and parking up for the night or 2.

There is a camping community which usually seems very friendly on these beaches.

A nice fire and some bbq supper whilst watching the sun go down - how marvellous.

I quite like East Sussex. You have a lively and vibrant city like Brighton (or London-by-the-Sea as some like to call it), quaint small towns like Lewes, traditional seaside towns like Eastbourne and some beautiful countryside in the South Downs.

There's loads of places in the UK that I haven't been to yet that I want to visit. I'd particularly like to visit Cumbria, North Yorkshire, Warwickshire, Devon, north Wales and the Scottish Highlands. I'd also like to see more of East Anglia especially Cambridgeshire.

A barge would be nice too, only they're more expensive.

Every time I have known someone who owns a barge they have gone and sold it.

My brother says I can borrow his camper sometime but that would also mean he has my home for the duration too.

Give and take I suppose.

Perhaps I will go on my own adventure next year?

So I would probably either borrow or hire a camper before I decided to try it more long term.

I do like my luxuries of home comforts to be fair.

People sometimes do home swaps - but you would have to be pretty thick skinned and open to do this.
