Glorifying neurotypicality.

As if they're allowed to be human and they're imperfect because they are human, not 'defective'.

In fact, glorifying any particular group/s of people.

Positive discrimination is still discrimination.

Yes, the sheer number of people who have said to my face 'you're so weird' 'you're a funny girl' 'you're strange' 'you're odd.' It is obvious to everyone but psychiatrists!

Yes. I always get singled out anyway, might as well put a name on it.

Same here. I never know why I'm singled out. I'm just always 'marked out' as a weirdo from the moment people meet me

I can not comprehend why every single lazy incompotent moron is able to easily land a job but plenty of potentially great workers majorly stuggle to get hired for any job

I don't get why some days, like today, my brain feels like it's full of cotton wool. I don't drink, so I'm not hungover. But it feels like I am even though I haven't done anything unusual lately.

And some days my brain is like a supercomputer, solving every problem and working everything out.

I don't get illogical people who seem to live their lives propelled around by random emotions.

If you also have major mood swings or sudden changes in behavior as well, it might be worth seeing a psychiatrist. Otherwise I would guess your going through shutdowns cuz of built up stress in everyday life. Then when the shutdowns pass your brain is reset. Think of it like restarting a computer when it starts acting sluggish after a period of heavy use.

I don't get people. At all. Not people who are nice to me and not people who are rude. It feels like i am always too honest.

I've had mood swings all my life, it's just how I am, always emotional and up and down. This is more like a physical thing, I wonder if I've got a virus? I suppose it's because of Christmas, it was a busy time, the weather is always awful this time of year and I'm the one who supports everyone else so it could be that.

I didn't think about the holidays. Things do tend to be more stressful this time of year both mentally & physically so that may be at least some of it. I hope you have a chance to relax & wind down soon.

I don't get why some people adopt pets, act very irresponsible with providing their care, decide to give their pets away, then adopt more pets shortly after, & the cycle repeats.

Thanks. :D

Holidays are stressful if you're the mum/wife/daughter holding everyone together. But this year I refused to put up the decorations and such, because I've been doing that by myself for years. So my husband stepped up and did it all. He said 'this is tiring isn't it' Erm...yes!

And I always feel miserable between Christmas and New Year for some reason. It's like the year's events catch up with me and I process them, which is unsettling.

I don't get people enjoying it at all.

I'm unfortunately cursed with this illogical and emotional programming this body and "person" has, and it's fricking hard to live with.
Thus I'm in this ego-alien state for most of my life. It's like dysphoria, except it's internal.
Most of it stems from developmental issues at odds with how I want to do things and it's outcomes.

But this irrational and illogical "person" isn't me -- it's not aligned with what I want and how I want it -- like how just my body and my mind isn't me, yet this one happened to be the type that doesn't match who I'm deep down nor does, thought or feel things as I would intended to.

While I perceive the autism is more of me, more aligned with what I would -- the screaming angry little girl isn't.

Things I Do Not Understand:

• Why bottled water costs more than twice as much as the same amount of sugary soft drinks.

• Why dogs are more popular than cats.

• Why I have to prove that I am me before I can pay my bills.

• Why it takes at least three attempts to correctly insert a USB plug into its socket.

• Why leaders of "Peace and Love" religions preach violence and hatred instead.

• Why people who 'forget' to RSVP get upset when I 'forget' to invite them again.

• Why people who are drinking never look as attractive as people in liquor advertisements.

• Why two or more sets of neatly stowed headphones get all tangled up when no one is looking.

• Why smokers deliberately smoke themselves into early graves.

• Why we were taught to hate and fear witches instead of those who burn witches alive.

Lol I was just going to say the same thing about trying to insert cables in sockets.

What’s up with that???

I also don’t get why people seem to post exactly what I’ve been thinking about, even when it’s random.
