I hate wireless mouse and keyboards. They kept running out of batteries.

Well, if that's the case, you're doin' it wrong!

They last FOREVER! I haven't even changed the batteries in my mouse yet and I've had it for over a year.

1. Use Energizers if you have them wherever you are;
2. ALWAYS use Lithium batteries. They're more expensive but they last a hell of a whole lot longer.

I always use Energizers (Alkaline) It never lasts over 4 months.
I never saw any kind of triple A-sized Lithium batteries. :( At least not yet. I guess it's unavailable in my current city.

Having Asperger's comes in handy at times. One of my things is, I love repetition.

That comes in handy when you want to have a bath and play music whilst you're in there because you don't have to think of dozens of songs to put in your playlist.
Just stick you're favorite song on repeat and go for it! :)

Forgive me if I'm being brash but will you marry me?
I haven't played anything in the Metal Gear series yet but I think I may have developed a tiny bit of a crush on him (I have WAY too many crushes on fictional characters...)

The day will come when people have forgotten to read actual paper-made books, that day will be one of great sadness..I'm one of the few people whom actually reads an authentic book not, the digital kindles or equivalent. I mean no harm for those whom like to read in that manner but, for me I'm content with actually being able to turn the page myself and experience the majesty and glory of authentic words on paper..

atah lo levad. never.

aw that's a bit pessimistic, lots of people can't afford the kindle fire or whatever, text is all they have. i, for one, have all these books i've bought found, and have not enough time to read them all or finish them! 8O

i like to grip all the pages i've read between my fingers and flip through them like a flipbook.

Kiprobalhato, I was not really being pessimistic though, more and more pieces of material are heading into the digital format though, however it will be many centuries before all paper books have reached a digital form therefore,, I'm glad to be reading my handwritten books for, I state this in a sincere, pleasant manner..

I looked back on my old post when I first joined Wrong Planet in 2010....I'm disgusted with myself yet I'm so proud that I've stopped that crap.

I've done what I needed to do today (making a dreaded phone call). Now I can just relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

It would be funny to see all 4937 pages of this thread made into a paperback.

Today is the day where I get to be bored and distracted again.

I'm using the pen tab for over a day now.

^i once tried to write down the entirety of the (or a, rather) 'three word story' thread. like everything, never finished it.

i see. :) well, they do have one advantage that shouldn't be overlooked, one can store tens or hundreds of books in that slim device, would take a lot of shelf/bag room otherwise. as i have never had a device like that i don't know if one can highlight or make notes in the margins, as can be done with paper books. i'm guessing you can.

but you never have to recharge books! i also admit, i like to take big, fat hardcover books and slam them shut, makes this neat, soft, low thumping sound, unreplicable with devices. long live manuscript!

also, you have handwritten books?

The company fiber optic link is down. Fortunately, we have a DSL line for emergencies and so I'm using that to connect to this.

I'm not going anywhere until they have it back up.
