or are we just talking about stars?

Or are we JUST talking about stars? Did you know it takes light 8½ minutes for it to travel from the Sun to here!

It could have exploded 6 minutes ago (don't worry. That's not going to happen) and we wouldn't have even known about it.

"JUST" Stars are excellent. :)

I'm not sure of the other stuff you mentioned.

I'm not stupid. Just ignorant. I don't see, read or hear anything that's going on in this world!

I am very ignorant, BUT by choice!! I don't care! Never have.

true that - not caring helped me get through some deep times :D never knowing or caring about what the heck some people are freaking out about, sometimes it can be a calming feeling.

the hercules corona borealis great wall, is apparently one of the largest known structures of the (known) universe at who-knows-how-many megaparsecs across.

i think rigel is excellent.

Yes, Beta Orionis is truly superb!

WOW! the hercules corona borealis great wall is 10 billion light-years across. I didn't know that.

Still waiting for the call for a bed. Will let you know when I'm going in.

Friend :)

Rigel, also known by its Bayer designation Beta Orionis (β Ori, β Orionis), is the brightest star in the constellation Orion and the seventh brightest star in the night sky, with visual magnitude 0.13. The star as seen from Earth is actually a triple star system, with the primary star (Rigel A) a blue-white supergiant of absolute magnitude −7.84 and around 120,000 times as luminous as the Sun. An Alpha Cygni variable, it pulsates periodically. Visible in small telescopes, Rigel B is itself a spectroscopic binary system, consisting of two main sequence blue-white stars of spectral type B9.

I can feel an old Special Interest coming back into the fore :) Astronomy/Cosmology!

It hasn't always been in the foreground but it's always been a Special Interest and a subject that I've held dearly to my heart all my life. :)))

After all, I do want to go home!

(I'm weird :P )

It's now 2:35am and I'm WIDE AWAKE 8O (forget how many days now)

I've got to get sleepy eventually. It's not normal to stay awake as long as I have been.

My writing series and video games pretty much sum up who I am. Whether they like it or not I am NOT becoming some advocate for girls with Aspergers. I am NOT writing an autobiography on everything I've been through. I'm already working on a series that has a sequel coming up in the future.

It's nobody's business what I've been through having Aspergers. It's embarrassing telling everyone about being hospitalized and talking about school. I'd rather keep my mouth shut about my opinions on Aspergers than humiliate myself.

Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with having Aspergers. I'm just saying that I don't want to make a laughingstock out of myself.

Sorry for the rant. I'm having a bad day.
