all my dreams are weird to me. I was a kid again, adolescent, a gang of kids, walking down streets, kid gives me a wedgie, i tell him do that again i will punch you 20 times in your head, he doesnt listen, i start hitting him in head, 1, 2, 3, im chasing him, 4, 5, he dizzy, i hit him about 6 times, he stumbles over, runs away, and collapses. we find body. dead. emaciated. feell bad. dont know he was vulnerable liek that, like he had a brain aneurysm. then find out it was imposter, somebody had switched places with my childhood freind when we wasnt lookin, so i had killed an imposter. feel relieved. i didnt kill a friend, just a stranger, a criminal. then i'm driving down streets now at high speed, its self driving car,....

my dreams are almost episodic, ill have like 20 different scenarios like this in one dream , in different locations, different cast of characters, all blending into each other, different landscapes. mostly bizzare and nonsensical.

I was a teenager again, sleeping in my bed in LA. My friend had slept over but she already went home. I rolled over and discovered that my friend had left a tiny keychain in my bedding. It was only about 3/4" tall with lots of tiny attachments like the rings for opening soda cans.

Just then my (deceased) dad came home from work and passed by my door saying hello. Then my brother went past my door naked but wrapped in a bedsheet because he was coming home from a date (lol). My dad tried to light the barbecue but said unfortunately it wouldn't start. I realised that the tiny keychain would light the barbecue so I got up to show him. My mother was remarking that my brother must really be in love with the girlfriend because "I think he loves Aubrey so much he won't talk to her on the phone from here. He doesn't want us to hear him saying 'I love you' when he talks to her". My dad interrupted and said "I doubt it's 'I love you' conversations -- they're just having hookups". (I have no idea where the name Aubrey came from by the way).

Then my dad tried to use parts of the miniature keychain to light the barbecue. He wanted to use a tiny black cylinder which was only about 1/2" tall, but he couldn't open the lid since it was so small. We were trying to pry it open with a knife.

Then I could smell perfume really strong and I asked why they were putting perfume on the barbecue. The smell got so strong I developed a migraine in the dream and woke up. Turns out my daughter had sprayed a perfumed product in her room (which I don't allow), and it made me sick in real life.

I didt know you grew up in the 'city of angels', thats cool. I love to have grown up in California. or maybe you taking about Louisiana. if so then meh.
I have done an extensive Freudian analysis of your dream, and i can tell you what it means, quite simply, it means you are seriously disturbed and need counseling immediately. I would say you're a very sick woman with some serious unresolved subconscious conflicts of a emotional and personal and sexual nature. The symbolism is unmistakable.

^ I didn't grow up there (Los Angeles). We moved there quite suddenly when I was 16, after my dad's dad committed suicide. My dad was in shock and couldn't cope so we moved to be near my mother's family for a while. It was a really rough time for us all actually.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm sick.

It goes with the territory. Being 'sick. ' Having a hard life going through rough times. It's just the same story, if you're on the spectrum.

Yes i find it common that elements of things you've experienced in the day or even preceding days will somehow make their way inside a dream and pop up when you least expect them. Even the stuff that was on the outskirts of your awareness, can become big points of interest and take over the content of the dream. All the senses, are involved. A chance occurrence can trigger unique synaptic connections and long distant memories.

dreamt i was at my niece's place, she and her husband were angrily walking away from their house with my sister, the niece kept insulting my sister's intelligence and my sis was having none of it, finally blasting out "cool it or i will put you down!" at which point the niece fell to the ground weeping and then turned into a can of meat. her husband was like a deer in the headlights. sis was totally beside herself that such should come out of her mouth and was trying to coax niece out of her can.

Weird and funny.

I was definitely watching some cartoons.
There are 3 characters -- some big guy, a lady and a boy, in a snowy islet full of monkeys.

They were trying to catch someone by luring it with apparently giant wheel sized whole gold, which happened to be found in the islet.
Instead, monkeys got the bait and one of the characters commented monkeys have no concept of what monetary value is.

Someone came and fed the monkeys some whole cubes of ice. And somehow convinced the other characters to eat it too.

.. The monkeys and the characters liked it so much, they all ended up in some wacky dentist. And one of them were complaining about it.

i dreamt i was in some kind of sporting store, 3 stories. i was on the second floor when all of a sudden my knees started to hurt and i couldn't walk anymore, so i staggered to an elevator and got in, made it up to the third floor which was mostly empty 'cept for an employee manning a work desk. then i awoke.
