My daughter likes pad Thai with, I think, fried tofu.

No, you're right. Probably for the better. I never really did feel all that comfortable with him. Only after a beer or two.

Sooo, predictor people say there will be two more cyclones by mid this month, namely one that might track westward from the Timor Sea towards north east WA, and another in the Coral Sea that might track west for a bit (no landfall they think) before curving to head south east. Please cancel any booked holidays to Noumea this month.

No booze tomorrow. I want to get one of the small Star Wars Lego sets they have at the shops.

I only drove down that "ghost road" yesterday. And my mum probably went via that road to linedancing today. She probably saw all the police and wondered what all the hoo haa was about. I hope his little body isn't in the bushes there. That road is creepy enough at night as it is 8O.

Well it's happened again, another snow day... seriously how can the education sector justify another closure, the roads are fine, at most it's only about 15cms of snow.

I almost bought a can of cat food for myself because the label didn't look like cat food.

Sucks how the bottle shop has no sake. I'll have to order online.

With the shed, my setup will be (for my activities):

-chicken coop off the side (outside, of course)
-brewing area; stainless sink and a bench with cupboards off to one side, under a window (where I'll brew various drinks; most likely just beer, cactus/agave juice and sake)
-work bench with all the usual under another window; this will be my reloading area too (another firearm safe and ammo box; I already have these); all the usual tools stored here for quick access
-storage area; bigger tools stowed/fishing stuff, in addition to feed

Upstairs will have a bed and trunk to begin with, but ma can do that area.

I don't know if I should get a rescue cat or not. I'd like one to kill off any geckos that enter. I hate geckos.

I have a cat you can have :P

He's already killed one gecko that founds its way into the garage so he's a trained killer.

Heh. We can talk when the thing gets built. :)

Excellent. I don't mind mice all that much (plus they're easy to catch -- not that I'd care if a kitty killed 'em), but geckos. I hate those things, and they're everywhere (I just heard one chirping in the walls then).
