I don't feel like I've been getting enough sleep, lately. I'm always tired.

i went to an student representative meeting today for the first time. i was so enraged by it. we tried to move a motion to support a protest against a chocolate shop that supports the israeli defence force, to have the president of the src send a letter to the vice chancellor and a public statement but they wouldnt do anything. our motion went down in flames. the queer officer and education officer gave me the s%$^ especially. like the queer officer basically said that queers are oppressed so why should the src support any other group when they try liberate themselves? im so pissed at him. next time i see him in queer space i am going to start something. i will not let this go. it was so wrong. especially when he doesnt do any activism. it's like if you think we're oppressed do something you fu%^&*! idiot! seriously it was the biggest bs argument ever made. i was going to explode and rant at him in the meeting. later my comrade said that i should have just let it rip since i am both arab and queer i could have and it would have been tolerated whereas he, a white straight dude couldn't. the education officers stupidity is too stupid to describe.

i had a bad dream last night.

I have no idea where my brother has gone. Mum can't get through to him on either of his phone numbers. She's been trying to ring him for a few weeks now. I hope those f**kwit squatters in his house don't have anything to do with it (at xmas my other brother's partner accidentally let slip that he was pursuing legal means to get them kicked out of the house).

I'll try to email him at work tomorrow and see what happens. For the moment I'm attempting to stalk the younger squatter's FB etc for hints.

the power went out and it was out when my friend needed to talk to me. my friend has problems i can't fix. i couldn't go to classes today because i didn't know where i was going because i couldn't access internet or files on my computer because we had no power. i hope cream and eggs defrost ok. i doubt they will.

my mom is driving me nuts today.

A phone call - as usual it made me cry and I am still shaking. Going to go eat some food and feel better.
