My biggest challenge was that large public high schools would teach too hands on; I think more of the classes should've worked like college lecture halls. The kids at my public high school were noisy, distracting, and frankly idiotic in more than half of my classes, so the fact that there wasn't really any classes with structured syllabi made the classes unbearable. Now I am in a much smaller private school and find that hands on learning is much more effective; the teacher can work really closely with you.

Did you have any routines as a child that you grew out of? Things like only eating particular foods, or perhaps at a particular time?

Yes, as a child I used to do these strange things with my fingers in fact, my mom used to say,"quit playing wiith your fingers"It's hard for me to best elaborate upon this for my use of words would not be adequate enought for you to understand though, I steel carry out such routine..

What things have you seen in your own life which makes you feel unique in terms of being autistic?

The fact that I can learn much, much quicker than ordinary people could. Also the fact that I could be passionate on a subject long after most have "grown out of it".

Are there any known cases of Autism (other than yourself) within your own family?
