I bought my first ever pair of specs yesterday. I got them from Specsavers.

It turns out I have astigmatism. I like my new specs but I can't get a photo yet to show you because I don't know how to put my face when I'm wearing them. They don't quite feel natural yet.

With the $100 I won from a $10 WSU (Washington State University) scratch ticket, a Tom Brady New England Patriots jersey. :)

And I bought it off ebay; it shipped today. It should be here Wednesday or Thursday.

Hope you manage going up and down stairs okay. I remember having that problem when I got glasses for the first time. :nerdy:
The last thing I bought was a dairy cream sponge for 40p yesterday that I shared with my niece over coffee.

No, I've had no problems so far. I've been going out on my bike wearing them and doing everything.

^ Yep. Nice thing about the new Godzilla movie is that it's getting a lot of the older stuff released on Blu-ray. Some of them only had mediocre DVDs in the past (Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah), and others had never been released in the US before at all (Rebirth of Mothra III). That lizard bastard is going to bankrupt me.

^ Not when it's Godzilla, which is one of my big obsessions, and not when I can take advantage of first-week sales and grab them for $11.99 each. It's fine; it's forcing me to stop wasting money on fast food so often. :P
